Membership Requirements

To qualify for membership, applicants must be under 50 years of age and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Bona fide employees of the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) and the Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago (PowerGen)
  • Employees of TATECO (San Fernando) Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited
  • Immediate family members of persons listed in (1) and (2), namely: Spouse, Children, Parents, Brothers and Sisters
  • Spouses and children of deceased members

Important Note: Persons who cease to qualify under categories (1) – (4) may retain membership at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

In-Office Application

Recent photograph for identification purposes

Two (2) Forms of Valid Government-Issued Identification

Examples: National ID Card, Driver's License, Passport

Birth Certificate

Required for children applications

Proof of Address

Utility bill dated within the last three months (e.g., T&TEC, TSTT Landline, or Cable)

Note: If the utility bill is not in your name, please provide:

  • A copy of valid government-issued ID of the bill holder
  • An authorization letter

Proof of Employment and Income

Recent pay slip or job letter

Application Fee

$100.00

($80.00 non-refundable administrative fee and $20.00 share contribution)

Beneficiary Information

One (1) form of valid government-issued ID for your intended beneficiary

(Beneficiary must be 18 years or older)
